Wearing bright colors can affect your mood and apparently, according to physiology, boost your overall health. It makes sense, when you put on a bright color or print, it’s hard to feel macabre and when you put on a Party Shirt International, it’s hard not to feel elation.
Started by two best friends who met in preschool, Party Shirt International shirts can be worn to, to you guessed it, a party...or on a MTB ride or to work or climbing. The shirts are technical in form and fabric but fun in print. I tested the Stretch Tech, which is made of 60 percent rayon and 40 cotton. Normally, I loath cotton blends and prefer my cotton 100 percent or none at all. This fabric is soft and airy but not sweaty. It’s super breathable and actually feels like cotton, more than any other blend I have tried.
The silhouette is classic and the torso is long. It’s not a boxy cut, but more like a fitted dress shirt is. It is a great piece to have even if you only wear for special events, however, I have noticed that my friends who regularly ride in party shirts seem to have more fun, even on grueling rides—scratch that— especially on grueling rides!
